Lula Grace 3yr Checkup

Lula went to the doctor today! She is 50% for height & 5% for weight but the doctor says she is doing great. We are very proud of her because she had to get her finger pricked and she put on a brave face. The nurse gave her band aids, stickers, and a popsicle so she thought that was pretty cool.

Phoebe Praying

Berry Patch Farms

Today the girls went to Berry Patch Farms where we got to pick blueberries. Of course we ate more than we brought home but had a lot of fun. Picking them one by one sure makes you appreciate the convenience of going to the store and buying a package.

Lula is standing in a pumpkin patch where we will come back in the fall to pick a pumpkin.

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY LULA!

It is hard to believe she is 3! We got her a new bike and as you can see by the picture she was not thrilled about it and wanted to keep riding her tri-cycle. We took her for some ice cream to top off her special day! We are having a big birthday bash this weekend. Thank you to those of you who sent birthday cards, gifts, and wishes her way.

Phoebe's First Haircut

The Skullet (Skull and then Mullet) is officially gone !!! Anthony did the removal and she was not real happy about it. He took off two inches of hair and it was all from the back. She still looks adorable.

Week in Chattanooga

We went to Chattavegas this past week and boy was it a crazy week. We were able to get some visiting before we got sick. Monday night we met with the Harpers for dinner and the kids got to play in the fountains downtown.

Here we had a visit with Grandma and Papa at the farm. Papa had a procedure at the hospital the day before so we came to visit and check in on him. Unfortunately, we were carrying a bad virus and did not know it. Lula had to be taken to the hospital for an IV and medicine. The rest of us got it too but were able to use medicine, lots of fluids, and rest. We are still trying to kick this bad virus, but the Lord has His hands on us and we are on the mend. Praise GOD!! Unfortunately Grandma got sick too.....so sorry Grandma and we hope you are feeling better.

Phoebe walking around at the pool today

Phoebe is getting more confident and stronger and is really starting to walk more and more each day. We went to the pool today and had fun after our 10 hour drive yesterday from Outer Banks and before our drive up to Chattanooga tomorrow to spend next week. Our baby girl is growing up!

Family Vacation in Outer Banks, NC

We went to the beach with my family to Outer Banks and had a wonderful time. This is not all of the picture so check out the album to the right. We had a busy week of playing on the beach, playing games, going to the light house, seeing WallE at the movies(too cute), cooking some great food, going out to eat, and just spending time as a family. We had a big Birthday cake just to celebrate everyones birthday and anniversary too. All in all it was a great week! Lula loved the beach but Phoebe did not like it at all. Finally the last couple of days Phoebe started getting use to it and enjoyed it.

Happy 4th of July

We went to downtown Historic Norcross to check out the fireworks. We had a great time to visit with friends, eat really good local pizza pie, and enjoy the festivities. This was Phoebe's first fireworks show but she was too tired and just stared up at the sky. Lula was too busy playing and chasing Roman that she hardly noticed the fireworks that is, of course, until they got really loud. The kids did great considering they were up until 10:30. We had a great time and we hope you enjoy the pictures. Happy 4th to you all!
