Weekend...

So we finally had a house warming party. It was so much fun and so thankful for all the wonderful people in our lives. Thanks to all that came to celebrate with us!

I have finally got Grey off the paci. Since he will be 2 in December I thought it best to get rid of it! Thankfully I used the trick of making the paci the enemy as you can see in the picture below. I first make a slit in it and then cut off a piece a day until finally he does not want it.

We are limiting on TV but the kids do like to watch Animal Planet. The funny thing is that Carlos loves to watch the animal shows too.

The Weekend of 11/15

Sorry for the ex-large pics but I am trying to figure it out...anyway busy busy weekend. The pictures start at the bottom and go up in order. First we took a family yoga class, which everyone did great. We celebrated our sweet friend Kara's birthday and we all had so much fun. We had a pirates and princess birthday party. All the kids were invited and had a blast. We had a family marshmallow roast in the backyard. Lovin this fall weather. Since the kids had Monday off we took them to Yellow River game ranch and then took them to Downwind Restaurant; which sits on a small airport. So while we eat we watch planes come in and out. They also have a playground and in this picture you can see a plane landing in the background. I have tried several times to upload photos in a smaller size but gave up and posted anyway........ HAPPY WEEKEND!!!

Camping at Table Rock

We took the kids and Carlos camping this weekend. It was perfect weather, great hiking, and fun all around. Here is a picture of me using the sling shot working on target practice.
Camping is not complete with out glow stuff. The kids had a blast with this stuff every night.

Even Carlos got in on the glow action.

Mr. Masters and I enjoyed the evening just the two of us while the kids still were in bed by 9p.m.
This is what happens when you get dressed in the dark.
Grey took a bad face plant and got all scratched up on his nose. He was a handful this trip and we decided to give it more time before we take him back. Thankfully Mamaw is watching him next month on our next camping trip.
Hiking
Thinking this is one of the contenders for the Christmas Card.

It was a great trip and the kids made friends at the site next to us. We had crafts, games, and family time. Mr. Masters and I were exhausted but so worth it to see the kids enjoying God's creation. I love the smell of campfire and the sounds of nature. Great memories. =)

Grandpa comes for a visit

We had a good weekend with Grandpa. We roasted marshmallows, played, and watched a movie. Carlos and Sam did not get along too well but it worked out.

Daddy showing the girls how to use a sling shot. Not sure it that is a good idea but we shall see.

Training.....

So Mr. Masters has had a 7 week training course in Chattanooga for the last couple of months. We have missed him terribly and it is no fun being a single parent. I missed my best friend and so glad that the training has come to an end. We love having daddy home with us!! So thankful for that fantastic man! We love you!!!!

Fall Festival

We took the kids to the fall festival and had a blast! Complete with face painting, dancing, and funnel cake! We walked by a cemetery and Phoebe commented "look at those dying holes". Love that girl! It was a great family day.

This and that

First hike of Fall...

It is amazing how fast these three are growing. We love them so much and blessed to be part of their life.
