Weekend

This weekend we went home to visit family. The picture below is proud Grandpa seeing his grandson for the first time. We also celebrated James' 70th birthday but it was cut short because of the bad weather.
Here is a picture of the snow we received while in Dalton.
Here is proud God-Father Steve holding G for the first time.

Here is proud Papaw seeing G for the first time.
My Granny Bert celebrated her 90th birthday last month which we missed so we stopped in for a visit. It was great to see her and she loved meeting little G.
On the way home we stopped at Calhoun Outlets..this is Lula having fun in one of the stores. We left Phoebe with Anthony's mom for the week and plan to drive back up next weekend. Lula has been asking for her sister which is so sweet.

Here is Lula loving on G..she climbed under his blanket and was hugging him.

Random things......

Okay as a new mother of three I have to say that the beginning was an adjustment and now Anthony and I are out numbered......a little scary to think about. Luckily G-man is a good baby and the girls have accepted that he is not going anywhere. We have offically settled back into our normal routine, although there is nothing normal about us, but life is good. Now, if I can just get this boy to sleep through the night and my belly to be flat again then life would be really good. =)
This was my first offical week alone with the kids....so far so good. No trips to the hospital and G-man has not been treated like a doll. I still have nightmares from bringing Phoebe home and hearing a thump only to find Lula had pulled a chair over to her crib and tried to pull her out to play with her but dropped her instead and the thump I heard was my new born being dropped like a sack of potatoes. So I think I have managed to threaten the girls enough and keep a watchful eye on the little guy thus far. Lord knows there will be plenty of moments in the future with him.
Here is a picture taken last week of us in a photo booth, there are so many of us that we barely fit. This is what we have resorted to for family photos. JK! The girls really like to get their pics taken in photo booths.
Here are a couple of pictures of G this week, for you Nana, and G has discovered himself in the mirror of his playmate. He literally stares at himself for a good 30 minutes.
Lula has been asking me if she can push G around in her stroller so I let her, very slowing of course.

Anyway somethings I wanted to share...
Lula was praying last night and asked God if she could please go to college to be a dentist. This is coming from Christmas where the little elf wanted to be a dentist. She is still talking about it and I think her diploma will read Dr. Lula aka Liono because she also is still obsessed with Thundercats and insist that we call her that.

Phoebe has been spending a good amount of time in time out because frankly my arm is tired from spanking her and sore from playing the Wii too, but she is two so I keep reminding myself but this to shall pass....right?! A little side note I think I have offered dessert as an incentive to eat lunch and dinner way too much because after breakfast Phoebe had a fit because she wanted dessert afterwards....did not see that backfiring on me but oh well. Live and learn. Phoebe also insist that we call her baby dragon and she can not say Greyson but calls him Bayson.

Growing boy and family in town.....

It is hard to believe that G-man is a month old already and getting big. Anthony's family also came in for a visit this weekend.
Look at those skinning little legs.......

Pictures from the past week.....

This past week we have had an adjustment period but things are coming along smoothly, the kids are getting use to Greyson and we have had many family and friends visiting. Greyson is a good baby with his occasional moments and the girls are keeping Nana on her toes. Anthony has been a tremendous help and my recovery is going great. I have to take it easy but at least I am up and about and ready to get out of the house soon except brrrrrr...... it is really cold! Thanks again for all the prayers, love, and support. =)

Daddy took the girls to a build-A-Bear birthday party and had so much fun.

He likes his paci!

The girls braving the cold and playing outside thanks to daddy!!

Lula enjoying her new ride and loves it!

I love this picture of the girls kissing Grey on the head!
