Disney 2009

Okay we are back from Disney....so glad to miss all the rain in the ATL. Thankfully only our garage flooded but our hot water heater did survive the flood. Hopefully Anthony can fix it today but we will have to see. We had a great time with Mamaw and Papaw too. We are glad to be home.

Random things...

As I type we are in a condo in FL and Disney bound tomorrow.....the girls are so excited. We arrived yesterday and have lived at the pool so far. We are here with Mamaw and Papaw too! Looking forward to the next week and no worries I have checked the rooms thoroughly for any signs of bed bugs. =) Now if I can keep the girls from getting injured, then this trip should go smoothly.

Also some things I wanted to type before I forget....

Today at the pool Phoebe was talking to my belly and then looked at me and said "he is
not talking to me?!"

Not too long ago Lula looked at me and said "Mommy, why are your eyes always brown?!?

Since the day we told the girls we were expecting Lula has prayed for me and the baby
in my belly morning, noon, and night. It is so sweet and now since she knows it is a boy
she ask God for a baby brother named Matthew, which will not be his name, but she
is stubborn and also asks for a kitten for Christmas (also NOT going to happen)....
I am thinking when her little brother arrives she will be wishing she got the kitten instead.

Just thought I would share some of the crazy things that put a smile on my face and heart with my two little ones.

New York Trip

So I am a lot behind on posting but we went to NYC and it was great. We were there for the Sept. 11 anniversary, the U.S. Open, and took in a Broadway show. It was great to be just Anthony and I while the girls stayed with their Mamaw. Thank you Mamaw and Papaw!! Anthony did have two days of work which I managed to shop, finish a book, and just relax.

Weekend

The weekend went by way too fast!! Friday we went to dinner as a family and Anthony and I watched a movie. Saturday we had our monthly game night, which was a murder mystery. It was a lot of Italiano and French fun and, of course, Anthony ended up being the murderer. It was fun dressing up and having kids free night. Here are a couple of pictures ...

BTW..I have not offically put on the blog but we are having a BOY!!! I am so excited and can not believe it. It is kinda of weird since I have only had girls but we are thrilled. Still feeling great but feel like I am packing on the weight. =( Oh well, I will worry about that later. Now I have to get started on the nursery. I will take any suggestions. I am also giving the girls room a makeover, since they will be sharing a room. I was happy to find fantastic deals on my mattresses for the room this weekend too! So now to finish painting and making their head-boards. I will post pictures as soon as it is done.

Last night some girlfriends and I got together as a belated birthday celebration. Nothing better than shopping and eating with the girls. It was so much fun! Thanks to Anthony who put homemade birthday cards and a balloon on my car while I was shopping with the girlfriends. I also came home to a clean house, bathed children, and he went grocery shopping and stocked the fridge for me. I feel so blessed with that man! =)

I also found some fabulous deals and was able to buy the girls wardrobe for next summer for dirt cheap. I love finding great deals! I guess you can say that I did a lot of shopping this weekend...one of my favorite things to do. =)
