September 2012

It is official Mr. Masters has returned home!  We are thankful and blessed!  Praise God!

We have started going to a new church that is closer to home and we took a family pic of us before our first visit.

Nana came early to help because we were hosting a family gathering/ birthdays for the kids.  Here they are decorating their piggy banks that Grandpa and Nana bought them for their b-days.
The cousins came early to visit and help.  Here we are having a campfire with smores..... yummy!
Here is a picture of the family that came to celebrate with us.  We are so blessed with so many wonderful people in our family!  THanks to everyone who came to celebrate and visit.
Present time...
We visited our wonderful friends the Harpers and as always had fun.  They are so wonderful to put up with us and we love them dearly!  Here is to more fun times!!!

Our sweet Phoebe got her ears pierced and did not even cry.  She was so excited! She also left the training wheels behind and is riding like a pro.  She will be ready for that triathlon next year.
Mr. Masters did his first triathlon in over 7 years....so proud of him.  He had a personal best time too!  Way to go Daddy.  This is his friend Chris (which was his first one) and he did great!

Can not believe that summer went by so quick and that fall is here.  The kids are doing great in school.  Lula lost her 2nd tooth last week.  Greyson is still potty training!!! Until next time.....

Fall Festival

We took the kids to the fall festival and had a blast! Complete with face painting, dancing, and funnel cake! We walked by a cemetery and Phoebe commented "look at those dying holes". Love that girl! It was a great family day.

Phoebe's First Day of Pre-K

So Phoebe started Pre-K and was so excited! She gets to go full five days a week and ride the bus with her big Sister. She is loving it and really doing well. I, of course, cried at the bus stop but excited for her.

Father's Day

Ode to Mr. Masters.....
We are thankful for an amazing man and enjoyed celebrating him for the whole weekend. He slept in and had breakfast in bed. He also got a nap, then to the pool with family, and then we went out to eat.

This is Mr. Masters walking his new grill to his house.... our neighbors had bought a new one and kicked this one to the curb. This one is in much better shape than our old one. SO HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO MR. MASTERS! =)
Our little Phoebe had her 4 year check up and growing. She is average weight but tall. She was not brave at all with having to get five shots but she said the finger prick was the worst.
Greyson had his 18 month at the same time and he is avg. weight but tall. He also had 4 shots and his little finger pricked. It was a rough morning but we all survived. The one pic I took of Grey at the doc office did not turn out.

We are so blessed and praise God our babies are healthy... Praise God regardless but thankful for a healthy doctor visit.

The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Sam. 16:7b

Phoebe told me it was not her B-day because she did not get cake.... I told her cup cakes are cake, but we had a "CAKE" to make her happy. It worked out because I had batter left over and baked it. I thought the cupcake tower turned out great. Complete with edible butterflies.

STAY-CATION

Stay-cation has officially begun, Mr. Masters is off from work and we plan to get as much free stuff in as possible... so far fishing and pool time. I love summer. Lula is swimming and both the girls spend all their time jumping off the diving board.

Went fishing today...did not catch a thing but had a great time in the great outdoors and with the most precious thing, FAMILY!

A little of this and a little of that....

Triple T's~
Here is Phoebe spending some time in timeout. The Terrible Three's have begun. I learned with my first daughter that 2's have nothing on the 3's. Phoebe is just pushing the boundaries because she is starting to see herself as her own person and trying to find out what she is capable of. I don't want to hinder that just guide it a little.

I can not stand to do Laundry...mine tends to pile up and with a family of five it piles quickly. The girls now help me with the folding and putting away. The system goes like this....
I quickly sort the pile of clean clothes into three piles. Socks, kid clothes, and everything else. Lula likes to fold her clothes and them being small make it easy to manage. Phoebe tackles the socks and underwear. I get everything else. Besides when I have something in my laundry basket like this then who could resist doing laundry.

The "STUFF" saga continues and my closet is the latest victim. I ended up with three large trash bags, the big ones, full of donations. Mr. Masters has not yet gone through his clothes so I will have even more to git rid of. It is so much easier to find things and actually know what I have and I don't feel the need to keep that door closed all the time.
