Some projects around the house

My table that I refinished and really pleased with the finished product; ignore the naked baby in the picture.
MY Red Chandelier that I love!

This is a 73' Ford Grill that I painted and plan to use for Greyson's headboard in his bedroom. Plan to put working lights in it and can't wait to finish G's room.

March Post

This is not in any particular order but it happened in the month of March....

The Family came to cheer me on as I ran a half-marathon. I loved that the girls made signs for me. Later the girls were drawing me crossing the finish line with Medals and balloons. I love it since they usually draw the daddy or stuff about their daddy.

Here is a picture of Mr. Masters winning at tennis with his doubles partner Meridith. They are on a winning streak and we are so very proud of Daddy! He won his division in singles too.

We bought the kids a bouncy house, we figured it was safer than a trampoline, and they love it.

Here is a picture of G-man before going to get his picture taken professionally. He is talking, running, hitting, screaming, climbing.....you know the typical boy stuff.

The girls ran a St. Patrick's Day Race and did great! Ice Cream and Shamrock medals were given out as rewards. Phoebe was barly beat by a little boy in her heat; she is fast! Recently we discovered she can walk on her toes, you know like the professionals....so you better believe we will have her in ballet soon.

I painted my front door and love the color...I love house projects. I am driving Mr. Masters crazy with all my "house projects". Next I plan to do the girls rooms and bathroom. Pictures to follow.

This house project was Mr. Masters, who used pulleys to secure the bikes to the ceiling of the garage. It frees up space for all the kids junk to fit on one side of the garage and leaves only one parking space still.

We are outside all the time and Gray loves to ride in the girls cars. They drive him all around the cul-de-sac.

This is a video of Lula riding her bike without training wheels. She is also reading really well and tieing her own shoes. She is growing up fast and can not believe Kindergarten is coming to a close. Where does the time go....

The kids love to dance and here is a video of all three cutting a rug. I just love them!

We recently celebrated a fantastic women's birthday. Happy Birthday to my mother-n-law who turned 60! We enjoyed celebrating with her and look forward to helping her update her kitchen for her birthday present. Heres to a wonderful godly women that I/we are so THANKFULL to have in our lives!!!!

God is good and that is all the time(even in the bad too)....but thankfully we are all healthy, happy, and together at this moment in time and we Praise GOD for all the undeserving blessingssssss we have!!

Shenanigans....

I was tired of paying a lot for hair bows so I started making my own....here are the girls modeling them for me.

He loves bath time and is now 3 months old.

Not too much going on with us...we took our home off the market, which is a huge relief. We are headed to our annual cabin trip and leave tomorrow without the kids, well we are taking Grey but he is easy, and I am looking forward to it. The girls are looking forward to summer time too!!

Worm Update, Container Garden, & Grandfather

So the worms are doing great and eating a lot. They are growing, thriving, and they are finally outside. I figured out why they kept trying to crawl out all the time because I did not have enough nesting and bedding for them. Once I added more bedding they seem content to stay put although I have the occasional straggler but nothing like before. They are also producing "Black Gold" aka poop. I will give an update a little later.
I LOVE PLAYIN IN THE DIRT!

I put together a container garden about 2 weeks ago. I planted squash, cucumber, tomatoes, strawberries, and 4 different types of herbs. Once some of the seed have sprouted I will have to transplant to big pots but so far so good. I am excited and wanted to do one for awhile, hopefully it will be a success. If it goes well then I will plant more variety next year.

Also please continue to pray for my Grandfather as he is not doing well. Thanks!

What's a Name

I was inspired by my friend Kathy and my Aunt Lisa to do this with the girls names.

I plan to keep an eye out for better ones but the girls and I had fun searching for the letters. I want to frame them out eventually.

Weekend Fun!

We had another unsuccessful attempt at soccer this weekend but at least Lula did not cry. Here is a picture of her team the Lions.
Phoebe on the other hand had a blast kicking the ball and playing on the empty soccer field.

This was a cute picture of Pheebs that I wanted to share! For those of you wondering she in no where close to being potty trained but I figure it will click with her eventually.

Here is the other paint project that I finished up. This is the laundry room that we plan to turn into an office hopefully in the next month or so.

Also wanted to add that we thought we were in the clear with no one else getting sick from Phoebe's episode from last weekend and week but we were wrong. I was the unfortunate one to get sick but thankfully feeling much better now. I would rather me than the girls or Anthony get it, although Anthony seems to handle it better than me so maybe it should have been him. I am kidding or am I. =)

Little Project

Before
After
So I decided to finally paint the cabinets to my master bath vanity and I am very pleased with the results. Sorry for all the clutter in the first picture. I also have the wood to frame the mirror but still need to cut and paint. Will show a pic of that later as well. There are a couple more paint projects that once finished I will post.

Also as soon as Anthony goes out of town the hot water heater decided to stop working. So it was pretty funny yesterday I had two big pots of water on the stove to heat them up just so the girls could take a bath. At least it will get me to the gym to work out just so I can take a shower there. =)

~Organizing Seasonal Clothes~

So it is that dreaded time of year, well for me anyway, to organize all the kids clothes, put away winter clothes, and bring out summer clothes. I buy those plastic containers with lids and tape a sign on the top that tells the age and season. I found this article and thought I would share....

BathRoom Remodel

The bathroom is complete...well almost but we are so close. All that is left to do is put up crown molding and touch up paint. Anthony did a great job on the demo, picking out the tile, and all the wood work. We started this project back in May but we were traveling so much that we are just now getting back to it. It will be completed by the weekend and we are so happy with the results. I put in some of the old pics of what we started with and as you can see it needed it desperately.

The Newest House Project

We are in the middle of remolding both bathrooms upstairs, which included tearing out everything in the master bath. It was only a stand up shower and we are putting in a jetted tub, new ceilings, new tile, new moldings, new toilet, and all new fixtures. We are looking forward to getting it finished, especially me because I can not stand to clean the bathrooms because no matter how hard I clean it never seems clean. Anthony did all the demo himself which I think he really enjoyed! We are not doing anything to the vanities as of yet but that will be the next project once we save up for it! =)
We also had a BIG BLESSING with the last hail storm we sustained hail damage and insurance is paying for a new roof. YIPEEEE! We are so thankful because we really needed a new roof and will get one in the next two weeks. Who knew there were a billion different colors of shingles to choose from.
