Summer Coming to an End

Well us moms got together for one last fun event to close the summer. School starts next week and we are looking forward to it. We went to Monkey Joes, which is somewhat organized chaos, but a fun place for the kids. Here is a video of Phoebe having fun on one of the air jumpers.

House For Sale & Grandparents Update!

So our house is officially on the market and we put the sign in the yard this past weekend. So keep us in your prayers that we follow Gods direction for our family. We do plan to remain in the Peachtree Corners area but we would like a bigger home to hopefully expand our family in the future.
Also thanks to everyone for your prayers for my Papa and Granny Bert. They are still facing a slow recovery but God is healing and protecting them. Thanks to the wonderful family members who are taking such wonderful care of them because that is never easy job.

PROMOTION, 30th BIRTHDAY, & FAMILY

Here is a picture of Anthony the day he found out he got the promotion......Praise God! He has worked very hard and we are so very proud of you Senior Engineer! We went out to dinner for Mexican, his favorite, to celebrate. WAY TO GO!!!!

I had an awesome birthday weekend!! My husband spoiled me the entire time and we got several date nights while the kiddos were at the Grandparents house. I got a big Surprise Birthday Party on Saturday night and I was absolutely clueless on. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with me because it meant a lot to me and especially those who came from out of town. Thank you to the Harpers for helping with the planning and decorating. A BIG THANK YOU TO ANTHONY FOR MAKING MY 30TH ROCK!!! The Lord has blessed us so mcuh and we are thankful.

Thank you to Mamaw, Papaw, Uncle Steve, and Aunt Brittany for taking such great care of our little ones for my Birthday weekend. We appreciate it as always.

While I was back home I went to visit my beloved Papa in the hospital, he is recovering from back surgery, and it was great to see him.

I also went to visit my Granny Bert in the hospital who had to have cancer removed from her colon. Please keep them both in your prayers for fast healing and to the care givers. Thanks to Michelle and Jason for putting us up for the night, having a big cheesecake, and singing Happy Birthday to me. To see more picture click on the photo albums to the side of the blog page.

BathRoom Remodel

The bathroom is complete...well almost but we are so close. All that is left to do is put up crown molding and touch up paint. Anthony did a great job on the demo, picking out the tile, and all the wood work. We started this project back in May but we were traveling so much that we are just now getting back to it. It will be completed by the weekend and we are so happy with the results. I put in some of the old pics of what we started with and as you can see it needed it desperately.

Wacky Wednesday

Prayer Request

I have two prayers request for my family. The first one is my Granny Bert who is having surgery Aug.7th to remove cancer in her colon. The second is my Grandfather who is having surgery on Aug.15th for a Laminectomy, back surgery. Please pray for the doctors that are working on them, for fast healing, and for the family members that will have to take care of them during their healing time.

Long Weekend

Anthony had Friday off so we went for a day hike and picnic at Panther Creek. Lula was a big girl and hiked in about a mile and half all by herself. We caught craw fish, fed the fish, played with all kinds of bugs, and played in the water.

On Saturday morning Anthony had arranged for his office to work a Habitat for Humanity project. It was the hottest day of summer but it was a success. We are so proud of you Anthony/Daddy!!

Saturday afternoon we went to Lauren's 1st Birthday Ice Cream Social. It was hot but the ice cream kept us cool.

Saturday evening we met the Nittos for a nice dinner and Isabella is the cutest thing!! Thank you for the birthday presents for Lula.

Here is a video that I just had to share! It is of Lula singing the Barney song and Phoebe is dancing as she is singing. Too cute! Also Anthony tried cooking his own BBQ this weekend and it turned out fantastic. Yummy!
