Weekend...

So we finally had a house warming party. It was so much fun and so thankful for all the wonderful people in our lives. Thanks to all that came to celebrate with us!

I have finally got Grey off the paci. Since he will be 2 in December I thought it best to get rid of it! Thankfully I used the trick of making the paci the enemy as you can see in the picture below. I first make a slit in it and then cut off a piece a day until finally he does not want it.

We are limiting on TV but the kids do like to watch Animal Planet. The funny thing is that Carlos loves to watch the animal shows too.

Some projects around the house

My table that I refinished and really pleased with the finished product; ignore the naked baby in the picture.
MY Red Chandelier that I love!

This is a 73' Ford Grill that I painted and plan to use for Greyson's headboard in his bedroom. Plan to put working lights in it and can't wait to finish G's room.

March Post

This is not in any particular order but it happened in the month of March....

The Family came to cheer me on as I ran a half-marathon. I loved that the girls made signs for me. Later the girls were drawing me crossing the finish line with Medals and balloons. I love it since they usually draw the daddy or stuff about their daddy.

Here is a picture of Mr. Masters winning at tennis with his doubles partner Meridith. They are on a winning streak and we are so very proud of Daddy! He won his division in singles too.

We bought the kids a bouncy house, we figured it was safer than a trampoline, and they love it.

Here is a picture of G-man before going to get his picture taken professionally. He is talking, running, hitting, screaming, climbing.....you know the typical boy stuff.

The girls ran a St. Patrick's Day Race and did great! Ice Cream and Shamrock medals were given out as rewards. Phoebe was barly beat by a little boy in her heat; she is fast! Recently we discovered she can walk on her toes, you know like the professionals....so you better believe we will have her in ballet soon.

I painted my front door and love the color...I love house projects. I am driving Mr. Masters crazy with all my "house projects". Next I plan to do the girls rooms and bathroom. Pictures to follow.

This house project was Mr. Masters, who used pulleys to secure the bikes to the ceiling of the garage. It frees up space for all the kids junk to fit on one side of the garage and leaves only one parking space still.

We are outside all the time and Gray loves to ride in the girls cars. They drive him all around the cul-de-sac.

This is a video of Lula riding her bike without training wheels. She is also reading really well and tieing her own shoes. She is growing up fast and can not believe Kindergarten is coming to a close. Where does the time go....

The kids love to dance and here is a video of all three cutting a rug. I just love them!

We recently celebrated a fantastic women's birthday. Happy Birthday to my mother-n-law who turned 60! We enjoyed celebrating with her and look forward to helping her update her kitchen for her birthday present. Heres to a wonderful godly women that I/we are so THANKFULL to have in our lives!!!!

God is good and that is all the time(even in the bad too)....but thankfully we are all healthy, happy, and together at this moment in time and we Praise GOD for all the undeserving blessingssssss we have!!

Oh My......

Okay, I can not believe it has been so long since my last post!So much has happened...

Greyson turned 1! He is a cuddlebug and is into everything. He is running, not walking, has 6 teeth, and says I love you!! Still no hair.

For his birthday we had a big family party at our home the begining of December.

We welcomed Hannah Faith to the World and we are so happy for Brittany and Steve.

Here is a pic of the kids with Santa.....as you can see Greyson loved it! Thanks to Nana and Grandpa for spending Christmas with us. Thank you Nana for all your help, could not have done it without you!

Here is a pic of the fam in front of our new home. We were going to rent but we found a home in a wonderful neighborhood to purchase. It meant moving Lula to a new school in a new county. The week we moved we have a big snow so it forced us to unpack. We are loving the neighborhood and the girls love all the new friends they are making on the street. Thanks to all our family and friends that came out to help us clean, pack, and move!!! We could not have done it without you all!!!! God was in control because the timing of everything worked out and it has been a great experience. We love our new home and look forward to see what God has in store for us. Praise GOD!

Here is a picture of our new little guy, Carlos. He is a standard poodle and we love him to pieces! The girls are still getting use to him but getting better at handling him. Potty training is going well and now with the fenced in yard he gets more outside time.

Here is a picture of the infamous building.....apparently someone did not like it and called the city on us when we built it. We then had to move it about 20 ft. and we also built a fence. We now have all the premits needed and the building moved. Now we wait for the city to come out and check us. Hopefully everything will be to their liking and we can be DONE with it! Just when I think I am getting the hang of this life, God quickly reminds me how much I have to learn. God is good!

Here is my big girl on her first day at her new school. Very proud of her and she loves her new friends and school.

My sweet baby girls...they are getting so big. I did take Phoebe out of Pre-school but she will start back up next school year to prepare, dare I say it, for Kindergarten. I can not believce it! I am enjoying her being at home with me, although challenging at times. =)

Big post but I will try to keep up with it better. We feel so blessed and Praise God!!!
Until next time....

Bath Time & House Update

I just wanted to share all three of the kids taking baths in the sink at about the same age. It is pretty easy to guess who is who.

House Update...we have officially jumped through all the hoops and the sale of our home will be final Jan 4th. We are still in shock but really need to start packing. We are excited on the next move but we do not know what that will be yet. So we are renting hopefully a house in the same school district and decide in the summer where to go and to live. God is guiding us and we are at peace with how he is moving through our family. God is Great!!!

Big Boy...

Greyson is such a blessing to our family...he is getting into everything but so thankful for him...growing everyday

The first weekend the house was on the market we had high traffic and one very interested couple. We continue to pray, have not been anxious, and feel very at peace with our decision. God has a plan for us and we are excited about that....

A little of this and a little of that....

Triple T's~
Here is Phoebe spending some time in timeout. The Terrible Three's have begun. I learned with my first daughter that 2's have nothing on the 3's. Phoebe is just pushing the boundaries because she is starting to see herself as her own person and trying to find out what she is capable of. I don't want to hinder that just guide it a little.

I can not stand to do Laundry...mine tends to pile up and with a family of five it piles quickly. The girls now help me with the folding and putting away. The system goes like this....
I quickly sort the pile of clean clothes into three piles. Socks, kid clothes, and everything else. Lula likes to fold her clothes and them being small make it easy to manage. Phoebe tackles the socks and underwear. I get everything else. Besides when I have something in my laundry basket like this then who could resist doing laundry.

The "STUFF" saga continues and my closet is the latest victim. I ended up with three large trash bags, the big ones, full of donations. Mr. Masters has not yet gone through his clothes so I will have even more to git rid of. It is so much easier to find things and actually know what I have and I don't feel the need to keep that door closed all the time.

Happenings

The weather has been fabulous and we spend all our extra time outside. So a lot of planting and painting have been going on. Anthony came home on Thursday late so we are having a long family weekend together. Here are a couple of my favorite pics from the week.

Phoebe enjoying some yummy blackberries.

Here are a couple of pics from Lu's dentist appointment. She was so nervous and the first pic is Lu holding her beloved polar bear. She was so brave and did great!

Here is a pic of Grey enjoying the outdoors.

Here is a pic of my rocking chair. Yes I painted it, along with all my front porch furniture, a bright yellow... I love the pop of color it gives!! I was inspired from our trip to Maine and everyone can use a little color in their life.

Please keep our dear friends the Harper's and the Johnson's in your prayers. Kathy's sweet Grandmother has gone to be with our Lord and Savior.
