Visiting a Long Time Dear Friend
Anthony and I recently have been reunited with a dear old friend of ours, thanks to Facebook!! Her name is Regina, she was our maid of honor at our wedding and we had lost touch over the years. It was great timing to find each other because we drove right past her town coming back from D.C. It was wonderful visit as if no time had gone by and the girls all became fast friends. That is their cool dog Diego too! We hope to get the families together again soon.

Visiting Nana & Grandpa
Well we have been in the D.C. area since the 12th of July, having lots of fun and enjoying ourselves. We have been to Chucky Cheese, park, farmers market, library, Museum of American History, Museum of Natural History, rode the Metro, out to eat, shopping galore, and you name we have done it. We are here just a few more days and have some hiking, disc golf, and water park planned. Here are a couple of picture but we sure miss Daddy who has been in Ohio the whole time. We get to see him Friday, which is Lula's 4th birthday!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
Tennis, cookouts, friends, family, fireworks, and fun!!! We have a packed weekend and we are all exhausted. Anthony won his tennis match and he had us girls as cheerleaders....GO DADDY!! We saw fireworks with a couple of other families and all the kids enjoyed it. We had sparklers, snap-n-pops, bubbles, chalk, and anything else to keep the kids busy. Saturday was pool day with neighborhood cookout and here is a picture of the ever growing belly. It was a great weekend and we are so blessed to live in this country. Thank you to all the soldiers who have fought and are fighting for freedom and the sacrifices made.

Marriage and the Bible
Our Sunday School teacher has been teaching about a biblical marriage between a man and women. I am sad to say that when he said turn to Song of Songs I did not know where it was located in the bible. I have not spent anytime in this book but yet it was very captivating to me.
Song of Songs is one of the shortest books in the bible and is very poetic realtionship between God and Isreal as husband and wife. Literally, however, the main characters of the Song are simply a woman and a man.
If you get a moment I hightly recommend spending some time in this book, also see
1 Corinthians 7:1-40. As we have gone through these lessons he did say something that has spoke to me greatly, which I fall short of at times.... Marriage is not 50/50 realtionship but giving 100% all the time. It is who can out do each other and for each other. I also have to admit that Anthony is so much better at this than I am. There are several books out there that were recommended: Divorce Proof your Marriage by Gary & Barbara & Sex Begins in the Kitchen by Kevin Leman. He also said something interesting about how we are the meanest to the people that are the closest to us and the nicest to complete strangers. Not that we are suppose to be mean to complete strangers but you get the idea.
