Dinner with the Shih's, Mandy's 30th, & Visit with the Harpers

Dinner with Grant, Emily, & Megan on Friday night at a great little authentic Chinese Restaurant. In the picture below the girls are dancing while we were paying the check and yes that is Grant in the background dancing too(we can't take him anywhere)! We all went out for ice cream afterwards and it was yummy.

Mandy turns 30 in style! We all went to the Grau's shrimp boil in Chattavegas on Saturday and had a great time. Happy 30 Mandy!!!

Harper's B&B
As always we stayed with the Harpers and had a wonderful time. Thanks for letting us stay the night and getting to visit with you all. We enjoyed seeing the little ones too(Big Boy & Marley Mo).

This pic was taken about 5 minutes after we returned home. We all were exhausted! Thanks to Mamaw for keeping the kiddies overnight for us. It is always great to have a night without kids. Thanks for having a wonderful lunch cooked for us too.

Lula & Granite

Today Lula wanted to wear her rain shoes to school...it is not even cloudy but she insisted she

wear them. She looked so cute I had to take a picture.

The Granite guys finished up yesterday but Anthony stills has to do the plumbing and I still need to finish painting the cabinets white. We also want to frame out the mirrors and then we will be finished with this project.

I Want To Ride My Bicycle!

Well with the gas shortage we decided to have a bike weekend. Anthony went for a bike ride then took Lula for a bike ride and the playground. We all took our bikes and the bike trailer to the grocery store to buy groceries. I do hope that everyone has gas to get to work this week. Thankfully our church is so close to the house otherwise we would have missed. We also got granite installed in both bathrooms upstairs but they could not come back to finish the job because they did not have gas for their truck. So we are without sinks in both upstairs bathrooms but no worries hopefully they will get out this week to finish up.
