Anthony had a four day weekend so we decided to head to Florida for some beach time and camping. We drove down and set up camp Friday. Then took the bikes to the beach where Phoebe did a face plow into the sand and busted her lip. It was so swollen that she did not look like herself. Then we roasted marsh mellows, read books by the campfire, and just hung out as a family. After the kids went to bed we were hanging out by the fire and had three racoons in our campsite. They were not really afraid of us and were looking for food. Then Saturday it started to rain and it was not scattered thunderstorms. We tried to make the best of it by playing on the playground in the rain but then Phoebe took another face plow into a huge water puddle and busted her head. So by that afternoon of trying to entertain two little ones and the rain did not let up so we got a hotel room in Fernandina Beach. We decided to not let the rain stop us because it was still warm outside so we hung out at the beach for the afternoon. Then had a great seafood dinner that night. We all got a good night sleep and woke up to blue skies. So went had a big breakfast and hung out at the beach and then drove home. It was a fun trip but Pheebs is just a little young for the whole camping experience. We loved the beach and enjoyed the camping while it was not raining. We will have to try it again in the Fall, maybe by then Phoebe will grow out of the falling down a lot phase.

Prayers
Please prayer for Anthony's family as his Papaw has joined our Heavenly Father in heaven. Pray for his Mamaw that is without her husband of 50+ years and for the children and grandchildren left behind to grieve him. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed.
