Updates...

We are finally getting back to normal, well as normal as we can be.   We had a nasty virus rage through the entire family.  It was rough but praise to God for healing us and taking good care of us.  So I am now able to update a bit...

Our little artist received an award for her artistic ability.
Soccer has come to an end.  Lula did great and wants to play again.  Phoebe has decided she wants to try something else.

Still Potty Training!!!  The only thing that works is for him to be naked, but he can not go around all the time being naked so basically he will have to decide to just do it because he can.  I just hope it is sooner rather than later.
Welcome Baby Eli... we have a new nephew and he is adorable.
Our sweet Pheebers in one week will officially be a Kindergartner.  She had a performance for her end of Pre-K and did great!  So proud of the wonderful young lady she is becoming.
I was able to go to Field day with the girls and they loved it.  I would have to go back n forth between their events but they were so excited that I came to cheer them on.  Loved watching them and hoping next year to volunteer because it was fun being there with them.

Mr. Masters took the kids to Public Works day and they got to see all kinds of fun equipment.  G loves firetrucks and ambulances so he was super excited.  Hoping this summer to spend some time at the Fire station.
Kitchen Demo has started and boy is my house turned upside down.  I am really excited to get it finished and will post pics when it is complete.

This and that...

Praise God he has Risen!!
What a whirl wind of a Stay-cation we had. Over spring break we had so much activity even though we decided to stay home but we did go to AL to visit family and celebrate Marki turning 3 for the day! We celebrated Mr. Masters' birthday. Lula lost her first tooth. She is so excited! We had our dear friends The Gonzalez Family join us in a day of fun! Thanks for the visit and for the 420. =) My mom came into town for a few nights and was generous enough to babysit for us. We took the kids to Stone Mountain three times over Spring Break. I got a hot date with my hubby and got to see the movie Hunger Games. Our other dear friends The Harper's came to visit us for a few nights.... we took them to Stone Mountain, had a glow in the dark egg hunt ( which the kids loved), we decorated cookies, and had a wonderful time visiting and playing with our friends. We also dog sat and picked up mail for the neighbors. We then hung out with several neighbor families on Saturday afternoon while the kids played. Sunday was complete with a wonderful SS class and then we got to love on 11 two year olds'. We came home and napped and then did our own egg hunt in the back yard and topped it off with a family bike ride.

We are so blessed and praise God that tomb was empty. We are so thankful that our Father loves us and sent his son for us!!

Now back to it and only 6 more weeks of school left... can't wait!

Lately...

We had the neighbors over for St. Patty's Day Party complete with live music.

Mr. Masters took a picture of me before the party but notice how my skirt and the plates match! It was funny because i had the skirt but found the plates at Hobby Lobby. It was a FUN party and we plan to make it annual event.
Some of the boys listening to the music, which was great!

Here are some of the girls just relaxing.

Here is Grey's new room. I meant to post last time but forgot. I have not put the lights in yet but getting there and I originally planned on putting this as a headboard but he is a maniac and I did not feel comfortable putting this in his reach. When he gets a little older I will use it as a headboard.
This picture is a little dark due to naptime but here is his painted headboard complete with licence plates. I think it turned out cute but he manages to pull those off the wall. That boy!!
Phoebe is learning to ride without training wheels and almost has it.
This is a picture after all the kids ran in the St. Patty's Day race again this year. Greyson even got to run and they all received shamrock medals. They enjoyed ice cream after the race.

Our niece won a state award for a picture she took and was honored in the ATL. So Mr. Masters took the girls after church to have lunch with them. Thanks to Mamaw for their wonderful Easter Baskets!
Saturday some of the neighborhood kids hung out at our house and played games and had fun!

This go in the wrong order but this is the after picture after ripping out all those terrible pokey holly bushes.
We took out all the ugly junipers by the mailbox too. I can wait to landscape them and make them pretty.
You can actually see our front door and you don't have to worry about the bushes hurting you when you walk by.
THis is a picture of how we pulled them out since they were pretty mature.
The before picture....
Here is a snail and if you look behind her there is a little one. So cute! They were crossing our grass so we decided to help them along and put them in the brush.
While we have been outside so much has caused us to stumble across some of the creatures that live in our back yard. Here are two salamanders that the kids had fun with and then we let them go.

I painted my larger post on my stairs white... trying to get rid of that 80's look and really looking forward to ripping the carpet off the stairs and the living areas in the fall.
Soccer is still in full swing and the girls are enjoying it. Lula more so than Pheebs but she is having fun too.
We have been living outside since the weather is so fabulous. I caught the kids playing nicely together in the hammock.
We caught a lizard and they both have their mouth wide open. He was not happy but we let him go.

This is my building in the back where I painted my quilt square. Really like it and need to do it on the other side. Now I need curtains for the windows and plant honey suckle on either side of the front doors and this project will be complete.
