So we had our annual cabin trip for 2009 in Black Mountain, NC without children. The Beards and Harper's went with us..... we all had a wonderful time and the cabin was great. We played games, hung out in the hot tub, and went out to dinner. A real treat without the kiddos. The girls took a day in Asheville for good food and shopping. We were even able to get pedicures, which is always nice. Thanks to all the grandparents for taking such wonderful care of the girls for us. I am already looking forward to next year!
A little note: When I called to check on the girls one day Lula got on the phone and informed me that Mamaw had been wiping and spanking her all day long and I could hear Anthony's mom in the background saying that she had not touched one hair on her head! Lula told me that she was being mean and that she had to get off the phone. I talked to Mamaw and apparently Lu was mad at her because she got on to her for being mean to her sister. Kids say the craziest things.
On our way home from the cabin trip we stopped by my grandparents house to do some visiting.
Phoebe got to feed a baby calf but Lula was scared of it. Both the girls go to ride the four wheeler too. We had a great visit but did not get home until almost 10 pm. Below is a video of Lula falling asleep with a book on her face.
BTW I know I change my blog often but there is so much out there and I get bored easily. I do it so much that I have gotten pretty fast at it. Amy I know that we were talking about the picture with a background and I figured it out so let me know if need any help. Praise to God for a safe trip and that all families were reunited safely. Thanks again guys for a wonderful relaxing time!!

We had such a great time too and are also ready for next time! It was good to see you guys again and hope it isn't too long till our next get together. Thanks for the blog tips and I may need some help with the header. I am still trying to get it made. I did get the 3 column thing up though so thanks! Good to see you guys had fun with your family too, what a long day!
Maybe if you guys don't have other stuff going on, we could all do it again this fall in the Carribean!! :) Always enjoy it and I look forward to seeing you guys in less than a month at Buffett.
